Gunnar Hubbard, AIA, LEED® Faculty, founded Fore Solutions in 2003. As a licensed architect, he has designed and built projects on both coasts of the U.S. and, as a green building consultant, has worked on green projects across the country and abroad. His goal is to provide forward thinking solutions for designers and owners in order to create a better built environment for present and future generations. Wasco products are used in many of Fore Solutions’ projects. According to Gunnar, “Wasco offers a range of quality products that allow us to meet our daylighting goals without compromise on energy performance or design.”
Fore Solutions helps educate clients and design professionals about sustainability with customized workshops and presentations. The team also offers daylighting and energy modeling as tools to test and develop systems integration strategies in design development. Examples of how Fore Solutions has combined its daylighting modeling with Wasco products include the company’s work on three Maine schools: Baxter School for the Deaf, East End Elementary School, and Congin Elementary School.
Fore Solutions specializes in consulting services specific to all aspects of green building design and development. The team includes leaders with broad experience in the rapidly emerging green design and construction industry. All team members are U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professionals. Located in Portland, Maine, Fore Solutions works throughout the United States and in Europe.
